The federal government has made drastic changes to vaccine policy and funding in 2025, including weakening vaccine recommendations for children and adults, halting research funding for vaccine development, and slashing funding for federal, state, and local public health practitioners who work in immunization efforts.  Some states are likewise implementing anti-vaccine policies through legislative and executive efforts.
