TIME100 Honoree Skye Perryman to Keynote 2025 Public Health Law Conference in Seattle

The Network for Public Health Law is proud to announce that Skye Perryman, President and CEO of Democracy Forward, and a 2025 TIME100 honoree, will deliver the keynote address at the 2025 Public Health Law Conference, taking place September 16–18, 2025, in Seattle, Washington.
Recognized by TIME as one of the most influential leaders in the world, Perryman is a nationally respected attorney and advocate known for her groundbreaking legal work to defend democracy, safeguard public health, and promote equity. Under her leadership, Democracy Forward has advanced high-impact litigation and policy initiatives on issues ranging from reproductive freedom to climate justice. Throughout her career, Perryman has led initiatives that have achieved a number of positive outcomes in public health law and policy.
This year’s conference theme — “Connection. Collaboration. Community.” — highlights the importance of cross-sector partnerships in tackling today’s most pressing public health and legal challenges.

The 2025 Public Health Law Conference will feature dynamic plenaries and breakout sessions focused on advocacy and community engagement; health and racial health equity; strengthening public health protections; and other urgent issues affecting communities nationwide.
