Publications and Research


Jill Krueger is the director of the Northern Region of the Network for Public Health Law. In this capacity, she provides legal technical assistance, delivers presentations and lectures, and builds connections in many areas of public health law. Her particular areas of interest include mental health, rural public health, health impacts of climate change, and agricultural and food policy. Before joining the Network, Jill was an attorney with Farmers' Legal Action Group (FLAG) for over 10 years. At FLAG, she provided legal technical assistance on matters including the Farm Bill, National Organic Program, disaster assistance programs, conservation programs, agricultural loan programs, agricultural production contracts, and farmer-lender mediation. Prior to FLAG, Jill was an attorney in the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and a law clerk with the Legal Services Corporation of Iowa. Jill graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Law and from Earlham College.
