Publications and Research


Brittney Crock Bauerly, J.D., is a staff attorney at the Network for Public Health Law's Northern Region, where she provides legal technical assistance and develops resources to support public health practitioners, attorneys, and advocates. Prior to joining the Network, Brittney was a research associate at the Consortium on Law and Values in Health, Environment and the Life Sciences, and a judicial law clerk to a Minnesota district court judge. Brittney also worked for the Minnesota Disability Law Center, the Fourth Judicial District Self-Help Center, and the Science Department at the British Embassy. Her past areas of research included ethical issues in genomic biobank research and media interventions to promote health-related behaviors. Brittney received her J.D. with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School where she served as a managing editor of the Minnesota Law Review and concentrated her studies in Health Law and Bioethics. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in Bioethics, Political Science, and Global Cultures.
