Distributing Information on Food Borne Illness Outbreaks

An official from a county public health department recently asked the Network for information on how to properly distribute the results of epidemiological investigations on food borne illness outbreaks to local restaurants and patrons. The Network provided the official with a framework based on the official’s state law. The Network also referred her to several organizations that would be able to provide more information on the changes occurring in the area of menu labeling under the new federal health reform bill.
