Clifford M. Rees, J.D. retired from New Mexico State Government on September 1, 2005, with twenty-three years of service at the New Mexico Department of Health, specializing in public health, behavioral health, drug policy reform, emergency preparedness, public procurement and the legislative process. Cliff is currently the Practice Director for the Western Region of the Network for Public Health Law at the Arizona State University College of Law. In April, 2013, he was named the Public Lawyer of the Year by the Public Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar.
