Healthy People 2020 Law and Health Policy Project Internship/Externship

Spring and Summer internships are available with the the Healthy People 2020 Law and Health Policy project. The internships provide an opportunity to work with staff with the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), Community Strategies Division, to focus on Healthy People 2020, and to be part of work to better integrate law and policy into Healthy People.

The HP2020 Law and Health Policy project uses the best available data to inform and advance the discussion about how laws and policies can impact health. This project is a 4-year collaborative effort of ODPHP, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the CDC Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF).

Students (law preferred) will work on the development of specific reports and other evidence-based products (fact sheets, research anthologies, etc.).
