The Network is organized into regions. Each region is dedicated to providing an area of the United States with public health law technical assistance and support on a wide range of topics. The Network for Public Health Law – Eastern Region serves individuals and organizations within:

Eastern Region Resources

  • In an effort to improve the safety of the nation’s food supply, the historic FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) was signed into law on January 4, 2011. This series of primers was developed to help state and local governments better understand the new responsibilities, opportunities and resources required and provided by the FSMA.
